Meet the founders, Nick Leech & Simone Dawson

  • Piloting medicare-rebated healthy voice checks for young artists with the top ENT in the Southern Hemisphere, leading mental health-first youth workshops to ensure

  • Coaching artists into NIDA, WAAPA, Griffith, Schools Spectacular, Southern Stars, Talent Development project, the Voice Australia, Australia’s Got Talent, national and international tours, and more

  • Producing sold-out seasons of innovative youth theatre with industry leading show teams, pro industry workshops (Jason Arrow, Laura Murphy, Kala Gare, Vidya Makan, Blake Appelqvist, etc.), ticket selling commissions for kids across NSW, and redefining junior theatre to thousands of audience members

  • Creating methods of vocal coaching, individual youth artist development, and ensemble artist development utilised across Australia

  • Collaborating and partnering with dance schools, CAPA High Schools, music schools, and education to provide real-world industry pathways and outcomes for young artists

  • Founding an international music therapy program to help access to creative therapies in third world countries and communities

Nick Leech & Simone Dawson are the co-founders and creative minds behind Be Great & Be Good and all of its divisions. Together the duo hold an impressive resume;

Nick Leech is an acclaimed songwriter, jazz singer, theatre writer, vocal coach, entrepreneur, creative producer, brand and business strategist, worked with international concert streaming services, in artist development, and top global artists.

Simone Dawson is a founder, producer, musical director, vocal coach, education specialist, music therapist, toured Australia, worked alongside the Australian Girls Choir, and has dedicated herself to the next generation of creative thinkers.

Together through their shared experience as vocal coaches and arts producers, Nick & Simone founded Wild Heart Creatives over FaceTime and a 25-year dream. That dream turned into all that is Be Great & Be Good today.
